acerbis air box washing cover for '06 wr450

2 posts in this topic

Does anyone know if the acerbis or twin air airbox washing cover for a 2006 WR250F will fit on a 2006 WR450F??

Acerbis website lists the cover as fitting the WR250F, both the YZ250F and YZ450F, and others, but not the WR450F.

Twin air website lists the cover as fitting the '03-'06 "WRF 250/400/426", but not the WR450F.

As far as I know, both the WR250F and WR450F take the same air filter, so I can't see why the same air box washing cover wouldn't work for both

If anybody can confirm that one of these will work on a '06 WR450F or has found another airbox washing cover that will work, it would be greatly appreciated :worthy::D

Thanks!

Hiya, I have an Acerbis airbox wash cover for my '06 WR450 with a Pt No inside of 0090. I would think they are the same for 250 & 450. It works but I have had to modify it a little as standard I found water inside it after a wash. There is a hole with a rubber grommet which I filled with a screw & nut & also the seal around the lip wasn't too brilliant & I had some rubber seal spare so replaced it with that. Much better! :worthy:

Cheers from Oz.
