Swapping out my wr rear fender to a yz one....

I have decided to go with the 05 YZ 450 rear fender for my 06 WR 450. What is involved in cutting the part for the coolant bottle and how do they compare in putting the normal, large, BD signal lights in there? (it's in the mail)

I Just got done doing mine. I just cut it with a utility knife. I put on a UFO fender and it had marks resembling the holes on the OEM fender. I got my Baja designs tailight and I don't like the fitment at all I may order an acerbis light. I have bar mount problems now!

you cant miss how to do it, when you get the yz fender and you match it up with the one you have one you will know exactly what to do

My BD kit came with the tail light already mounted to a YZ fender

Kewl, that's what I have coming, a yz fender with LED tailight from BD, I wonder if it's yamaha or acerbis or other aftermarket manufacturer?

Any chance of getting some more High res pics at different angles from this bikes fender?

I don't have any pics. I might be able to post some tomarrow. Mountainmax if your fender comes attached will you take pics of the underside of the fender with the BD light attached? I looked at my buddies acerbis light on his 450x and I think I likt the way it will fit better than BD. It dependas on the underside of your fender!

Here is some photo's of the cuts made at the coolent resevoir and the Baja designs tailight. . You can see how much plastic is there. It says to trim to fit.
