AP tuning.

I finally got around to messing with the AP squirt on my 06 and found that stock it shot way too much fuel, for too long and too late compared to throttle opening. I turned the AP timing screw all the way out until it was threaded just enough to stay in, this makes it squirt sooner; then I safety wired the AP link lever and AP timing screw tab together, this gives it a more instantaneous squirt; then I installed a #70 leak jet. It really cleaned up the bottom end response and quickened the bottom to mid transition. It pulls 3rd gear out of turn like my Honda used to. Give it a go and you'll be pleased.

Didn't you say there was no way in hell you were going to screw around with the carb on your Yami? Just giving you a hard time; did you find an easy way to work on that thing, or was it a pain in the @ss.

What is the partnumber for the #70 leak-jet? Is there a good place online for the partnumbers on the YZF450 '06-'07?
