carburetor problems

Hi all,

i have replaced a broken valve, needle. since then sometimes the engine is "stuck" in high rpm.

could the reason be that i installed the seal the wrong way?:thumbsdn:

any other suggestions?

It sounds like a sticky throttle. Check the linkage and your cables. Maybe it is getting hung up on something. I would check the choke linkage too.

Thanks for the reply.

checked again. dont think that's the issue. the throttle cable is new and the linkage seems fine.

what do u think of the seal issue? does it have a direction?

What Year is your Bike? did you check the Throttle slde for hair line cracks.

You should search for this there are lots of info including pictures on this issue.
