XR650R on ebay - record price?

 I'm pretty naive at times I guess because I don't get it.

The guy before him bid 175,000 so according to the rules shouldn't the winner have to pay at least that much or how ever much it ends up to be above the 175,000, I know he won't so I don't follow, can you explain?

Rotflmfao!

What ?

Its a binding contract to win an auction on ebay. Legally the seller could try to force payment....but good luck with that one.

Thats pretty funny, since I am not the one selling it anyway ! ha ha ha

Maybe it has that Ultra Rare nuclear fusion belt drive option that honda only offered on 3 XR's...

Then its a STEAL !

Rolling On The Floor Laughing My F'n Azz Off

:thumbsdn::thumbsdn: I finally got up the nerve to ask what that meant. For YEARS I wondered.............Thanks!

Should I bid 176,000 ???

It is pretty clean, but I wouldn't go a penny over $173,000.

Lot of scuffs for 200 miles!

Man what a rusty A$$ chain and header!

I agree one rusty counter sprocket, shaft, and header, must be some of that radiation from the fusion belt drive leaked out and caused some corrosion.

Nah, the seller has gone and upset someone, the listing fees were probably at least $30 that he will not get back, and the final value fee that ebay WILL charge the seller at auctions end are around $9000, and wont go away until it is all resolved 8-20 days. Yep, the seller probably ripped someone off and this is how they are getting back at him!

No way that bike has only 200 miles on it, maybe 200 miles of falling down or was under water in New Orleans for two weeks.

I would have at least oiled the chain!

It is listed as pristine that allways raises the price, it should top out around 200,000, I would expect more if it had a decent exhaust system.

I guess the old adage is true, A sucker born every minute!

and those tires have Alot more than 200 on them

and those tires have Alot more than 200 on them

Right on. At 200, the front should still have most of the whisker thingies sticking out and the yellow stripe, too.

Like the TV spot says: fun value - - priceless.

looks like some one messed up and is trying to cover there a$$ and made up a new profile.

Actually Ugur4X4(0) put in the high bid first. I was checking this out yesterday. Then Gatruckparts (69) bid $175K 2 days later because he probably wants the bike and will settle with the owner when the auction closes for the original $3500 bid. I wonder what Ugur4x4 set as his max bid...

I had been dealing on that bike and then ended up buying another bike. The guy seemed nice enough. Can't believe he is still trying to sell the bike.

Funny how definitions vary depending on owner when it comes describing a bike that is for sale.

I mean this guy calls it Pristine condition. To me Pristine and Mint means you could park it in a showroom and it would look absolutly new OR the condition of the bike can't be improved on what so ever. That bike and many others I see are a far cry from using those desriptive terms.

I guess showroom, pristine and mint pretty much mean the same thing then.
