Awesome bike I love my '09 too. That one is in good condition! If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

I got it for $3900. It came with an FMF titanium exhaust, FMF Megabomb, Clark 2.6 tank, ASV levers, carbon fiber side guards, Devol skidplate, Sidewinder titanium sprockets and stainless steel chain. I was really happy with the deal. :ride:

Heres my 08 at the track for the first time.  I picked it up about 2 weeks ago.  Low hours, but it was pretty dirty and in need of some TLC.  I steam cleaned it and added new tires, chain/sprockets, air filter, and fork seals.

I have plans on changing the front fender and shrouds to blue to match this...

My 5 year olds new PW50.

Here is he on it at the dealership.  We suprised him with this on the way home from his heart surgery last weekend.

Just bought a new 2017 yz250fx, has about 2 hours on it and ive already done an oil change, and overall made sure everything is in good condition.
I rode for about an hour last Saturday around a farm and than stopped to turn off the bike, about 20 minutes later I came back and started it up and now every time I rev it/ blip the throttle the bike just shuts off.
Than about 6 days later tried again, Now it wont even run without choke, I warm the bike up on choke and as soon as I shut it off bike turns off
Not only do I want to fix this so i can ride my NEW bike, I am very pissed because its brand new and ive done nothing wrong to it.
      Any help is much appreciated

I didnt know there were different versions of the MX FCR carb. I have a Gen III and didnt know the valve seat was pressed in. I just thought it was hard to get out like everything else (bike had been sitting for years). So i drilled the seat out thinking that i would replace it. Now i cant find a seat. Is there any way around this without buying a new carb?

So apparently some mx fcr carbs have removable valve seats and some dont. I didnt know this and just thought mine was really stuck in there so i drilled it out. Was going to replace it anyway. But it turns out that i have the model that is not suppose to have the valve seat removed. or so i think. Is anyone aware of this difference between the same carb. Do you know where i can get another valve seat? its off a 2003 yz450f

the carb on my 03 yz450f is a keihin mx fcr 39. I know that the old pwk models had a gasket in the body that was not to be removed or soaked because it would ruin the gasket. Should I not soak the body of the fcr 39 in something like berryman? also is the thing underneath the needle valve (the place the valve sits in) suppose to come out? it looks like there is a new one in my kit but i cant get the old one out
