I am hurting something fierce for the Ulysses. Saw/sat on first one in Daytona in March. Love at first sight.

All the rags are saying its first-class bike AND has the best motorcycle seat on the planet. Maybe I could tie-wrap a Ulysses seat onto my BRP...

Power-wise how does it compare with the L or the R?

Hi IC,

No comparison at all. This thing power wheelies before uncorking it! It has the power of my supercharged nightrain, and almost the flickability of my XR. It's like the perfect bike. It is an excellent two up bike as well, and the detachable luggage is worth it. If you ever have the opportunity to demo one, DO IT. You won't regret it!

Now I'll prolly sell my Harley and my Tard.

I hear you! Harley-wise I've got an ElectraGlide and the wife's got a Deuce, both set for solo. I have been watching Buell since forever and now with the Ulysses am seriously considering trading the Glide-o-Lounger in for a loaded Ulysses, GPS and all.

Your description of it as "the perfect bike" is close to what all the mags are saying about it. I see it as the perfect "offspring" of a touring bike and the 650R. The wife and I demo'd an R1200GS at Bike Week. I loved it but she hated the pillion. The Ulysses is supposed to have the best pillion around (at least anything under 800 pounds). How's your S/O like the Ulysses?

The way I see it, the Ulysses is the perfect answer to the question, "If I could only own one bike..."

You're killing me, Treadmarks!!

[sorry, Thumpers, for the Buell-babble..]

I am interested in the pipe. PM sent.

I'm interested in the Passenger Pegs. PM Sent

does anyone know if the passenger pegs for a 650L will fit a 650R?

I am interested in the pipe. PM sent.

email sent

Are you by chance interested in getting rid of your header, brushgaurds, taillight or rear fender? I sent you a PM.

is the xr tank youre selling the stock or aftermarket in your xr picture?

If it has "wings" it's probably stock at least that's what I gathered from the description.

The factory tank.

PM with email addy for pics.

Can I come over and get a test ride on your Ulysses? I promise I wont fart on the seat.

Haaaa. You are too funny! :thumbsdn:

You have to be 10 feet tall to get on this ride. :thumbsdn: It is a very big bike.

Since I am not 10 feet tall, I dropped it twice in the first week.

Ya gotta love Buell's use of plastic and robust saddle bag mounts. :excuseme:

Treadmarks, I just happen to be 10'2" and bullet proof, seriously can I come over and give the ulysses a try? If I do have to fart I will stand up, promise! Local harley shop wont carry the Buell's. Where did you get yours?

Got mine at Ocala Harley Davidson. 9995 +bags, tax an title.

I havn't been passed by any of them Buells out in the desert, and at 425 pounds dry I don't think I will see one out in our terrain.
