okay, lets see the tricked out XR650L models that we have around

Recommended Posts

We can do what R riders do it may take us a little longer to get there but we dont have to add an alternator and turn signals to do it, hey theres nothing wrong with running an air cooled bike, we dont have to check the coolant if overheats, just a glance at the oil temp and you know whats up. SO lets see them thar L models that everyone talks so bad about, I ride one and proud of it have a great time on it. Mine is in the garage I got to get a new picture cause I am improving it weekly. SO LETS SEE YOURS??:lame:?:bonk::bonk:

Damn, is that a Terraflex on the rear?

If it is, what are your thoughts/impressions?

I'm looking for something for my 600 that will hook up better than the Mich S12 I currently run. I think my 140lb ass needs to eat more whoppers or something.

On the flipside, I FLY on the street.

Sorry, the XRL ain't tricked out at all.

Stock tank, only the black part of the wings are left (they work good that way, though), terraflex and MT18HD, the pigs expected to pull me through the mud, up over the rocks, up the sand hill, to the top of the mountain, down the freeway at 80, down into the gorge and up the other side, drop it to the bottom of a stream (its a sight to see the headlight looking up at you through the murk) and pull the plug to get the water out and ride the damn thing home.

All that, and you expect it to look pretty?

I am on my second Terraflex, and LOVE them. I run about 65-70% dirt. But they handle fine on the street as well. Just be careful breaking them in for a few miles on the street. My 1st one lasted over 2,500mi. And they fit fine with stock chain when using 14/48 gears. I did trim the chain guard a bit to give clearance.

The TerrorFlex will give you the traction to tackle anything you have the guts to try.

Every one notice the big oil drips sitting below his bike in the second pictures. We got a bleeder here. ?

sick em, get um, get the ruler out and spank the back of their hands! thats how real school teachers do it!

1985, them guys were crawling still.

either that, or they are engineers, = no clue of reality.

1985 I was 18 and riding a KTM 500 smoker. ?

Like I said, I was just teasing. :lame:
