Oil

2 posts in this topic

Is it OK to run 10-40 oil? I know the manual recommends 20-40 which I have been running but I have a bunch of 10-40 laying around my garage and thought I would run it. What do you guys think?

gdm:

There are a lot of existing threads on this topic that you can research. No problem using 10W-40, especially going in to winter, you just want to ensure that the oil does not contain any friction modifiers, which won't work well with your clutch.
