You didnt say whether your bike is registered now, so heres how I did mine:

Just try to get everything set before you send in your papers, it will save time, and cut down on the frustration. Good luck.

Has some info in it.

The biggest thing is to find an inspection mechanic that knows it can be done. Once you do, he'll tell you everything you have to do. Apparently the rules are fuzzy, it seems that the exact requirements vary a little from mech. to mech.
