ok just need to know if a 250f motor will fit into a 2000 yz426f frame?

i know i might need a little extra stuff but other then that im not sure.

Short answer........no

Long answer.........yes....It will not bolt up. But, with a cutting torch and a welding machine anything is possible. Motors have been stuffed in all sorts of frames. Anything is possible, but not always worth the effort

If getdrunk can fit his 426 Nig Rigged Motor in a quad, I'm sure you can figure out how to make the 250f fit in a 450f frame...?

I'm not following what thats all about but ?

I had a little problem with sum mud and i need major repairs.there seem to be a lot of motors on ebay for 250f and not that i don't love the power of my motor but i have to try and balance cost of repair over worth of bike.

the cam journals,cylinder as well as crankshaft bearing is gone. so about $1200 to fix over all.

I have both a loud ticking as well as a knocking.i could just do a crank rebuild and a new cylinder for now and later replace head but i don't feel right doing it that way.
