yzf 450 neutral switch

Recommended Posts

Well, each bike is likely a bit different in that regard, but I'll tell you this...

I once went to restart mine after it had run for ten minutes or so and then sat for another 10-15, putting it at a kind of unusual in-between temperature. It was in gear, so I hauled the clutch in and cranked it. In just over 40 years of riding (on and off), I have never been kicked in the foot so hard by any other motorcycle....ever. It damn near broke my foot right through my A-stars. I start it in neutral unless it's good and hot and I'm stalled in a place where finding neutral is difficult. And mine, at least, seems more willing to light off in neutral than in gear.
