Hole in swingarm

Why do yamahas have that hole in the swingarm :thumbsup: . It has bugged me from day one since i dont know what it is for. :ride: Thanks.

there just happens to be a bolt in there that someday you may want to take out, if you regularly perform maintenance your your bike. but who knows??? :thumbsup:

Yep, you would need to take it out to grease it all up in the linkage.

Just for the linkage.

I would much rather them do it like the other manufacturers, though. You need a pretty long socket to get that sucker out.

just use an extension....on your standard socket :thumbsup:
