Burnt intake valve?

have just got around to doing valve clearances on my wr400 again , have got 6 thou, 2 thou and one which is closed up! I haven't had any starting or power issues, is there any other quick ways of see if there is any damage other than usig a boroscope. Do you think i would get away with simply adjusting the clearances or should i pull the head off and have a Captain Cook

Being an old model, new valves are probably due.

I would have a look for sure. You have had a good run, give it some loving!
