I'm with RB,,That stock silencer is atrocious!! It throws off the look of the whole bike. Hey Yamaha guys,, don't go gettin all butt hurt about my comment. Yamaha is a fine bike,, It just LOOKS crappy because of that damn exhaust!

Redbeard, honestly, i congratulated you in the honda forums today for going blue/yellow, and now your in here complaining about the most silly thing, please leave the bike the way it is and ENJOY it! You will soon find that yamahas are made for pure business and no fooling around and you'll love it even more than that first ride you raved about in the honda forums. Don't mind what those guys are saying about the stock exhaust, they are just picking at the slightest thing because they hate it that your going to be on a yamaha. Good luck and please take my dumb advice, leave the exhaust alone!!

Agreed, they can't find anything wrong with Yamaha besides calling it "piss color," or saying the mufflers are too long, even though their only like 2 inches longer than Honda's new ones...Deep inside they wish they went with Yamaha is all... :ride:

Their called GIF's. www.iconhell.com is the only one I remember.

I went the Dubach route too and it's tucked in a lot better than stock...a lot. The sound is about the same as stock, but throatier.

What is the differnece in performance in just getting the Dr. D slip on versus getting the whole system?
