Countershaft seal question

2 posts in this topic

Fired up the pig for the 1st time in about 4 months & took a short ride to get gas. Next morning loading up the trailer noticed an oil leak at the countershaft. Oil level is good, no overfill and I doubt my vent tube is pinched (will double check).

My question is do these seals fail on their own sometimes, or should I be worried about an other issue?

Thanks :applause:

I have found on average that those types of seals need to be replaced every four years so I would try replacing it first.
