Proof of Ironman Sprocket Indestructability!

I got my new 47 tooth Ironman sprocket in and while swapping the old 49 tooth one out I realized how their was obvious signs of visible wear but that is after almost 4 YEARS of use!!! I don't ride 2-3 times a year either, over the last 3 years I have been riding nearly every weekend (mostly MX). Great product, I got mine for a great deal from Sirthumpalot's page, might as well send my money to a fellow TT'er! The other thing to notice is although this longevity can be had from Steel sprockets, the Ironman's don't weigh very much at all.

The pics are a bit big (1.25-1.5Mb) so I could show more detail, but it shouldn't take more than a sec or 2 to download.

Great place to buy Ironman from

Cool, I run a JT steel on my bike even though its like 4 pounds it's cheap and will last forever.

(BTW the first two links don't work for my computer)

The links will work, just get rid of one of the http's. I'm running the Ironman on both of my bikes. The KX500 sand bike puts a lot of strain on a sprocket and after a year there is very little wear. Great product, and it looks cool too.

Links fixed, forgot TT puts the HTTP:// so I shouldn't have included them in mine!

Exactly the reason I only use them....awesome, longest lasting sprocket on the market. :ride:

Are there any chains that last as long?

JT steel :ride::banana:

Another good sprocket to check out is Sidewinder sprockets from Krauss Racing. they make a titanium/cromoly sprocket that I had on my 2001 yz250....that bike destroyed aluminum in a week or so...but this sprocket barely had any wear after a full year of riding 4 days a week. It was lighter than steel and stronger, laser cut...etc. they also make a super strong chain that will outlast most other brands but it's a bit pricy for a chain..
