Buying an 06 - Stupid Questions

Hi All, I've found a new 05 at a dealer close to me for £4230 OTR and I've convinced him to give me an 06 for the same price.

Stupid question number 1

Is there a way I can tell at a glance that the bike is an 06 (and the dealer isn't pulling a fast one and giving me an 05)?

Stupid (and obvious) question number 2

Does this sound like a good price?

Thanks in advance

flip

at a glance yes

the speedometer

06 = digital

05 = not

The words Fk Me thats Cheap.. for an 06....

Where are you sourcing said bike from... also does it include full road Trim ?

The only stupid question is the one that you DON'T ask.

They've all said that they're full UK bikes with road gear. Wigan Yamaha said they'd do an 06 for the same price as the 05 (after I told them that KJM, who are just around the corner, are doing an 06 for that same price). The only problem for me is that the best offer any of them gave me for my 01 WR250F is £1200, should be worth around £1800 privatley. I also need to sell my old road bike which has been sitting in the garage for nearly a year after I replaced it with my SV thou :thumbsup:

Very Typical of dealers, they will make up their shortfalll on the trade-in.

IMO, nail them on a price then sell your other bikes privately... :thumbsup:
