looking into buying one of the last years of the 426, anyone have an idea of prices these bikes run used? thnx

It depends on your location and what the bike looks like. 2002 models go for $2000-3000 in southern Indiana.

I would also look into getting a 03 450 instead. Since the 06's came out the prices have been really low. Anyhow..last year I got my 426 for $2800 since it was in great condition and had some aftermarket stuff.

I got my super clean '00 for 3000 but everything is more expensive in these parts than anywhere else in the country. I personally like the 2000's the most because the ss valves are more durable and makes the bike even more tractable than most motocross four strokes

i got my 2002 for 3200 a year and a half ago, it was super clean. ive moded everything to make it an off road bike and i love it..

i got a 2000 for 2,300 three weeks ago, lots of aftermarket parts. its worn, but not worn out!

Yeah...I got about the same thing. Bike was used, but not overused. Less than a year ago and I tagged my 2000 for 1,875, but I got extremely lucky...I was expecting to pay about 2,200 for it. I did have to add new fork seals and a valve adjustment on-top of that, so I guess I really got it for about 2,000 and some change.

I just got a clean 01 with a couple of aftermarket parts for 2800 right here in Vegas

I hope it wasn't that one I saw on Craigslist. It had a drilled airbox, K&N filter, and a pic with a paddle tire in the sand. Those add up to an abused motor. :thumbsup:

I picked up my 2001 426 for $2200 and it in 99% stock except for flywheel weight and gripper seat otherwise original and very nice. :thumbsup:

Picked up my bike on friday for $2000. Its a 2001 with a FMF Q2, Hinson clutch basket, fully rebuilt motor (new piston, rings, gasket, crank) and about 6 rear tires that have all been used for about 1 mx race, one of them looks about brand new.

I got my 00 426 for $2400 with a ton of aftermarket stuff. When I got it, it already had black excel rims, hinson clutch basket, barnett clutches, renthal top clamp with fat bars and high risers, aluminum throttle tube, white bros exhaust , enzo re-worked suspension and a few other things. Since then I threw on enzo sub tanks, new grips an IMS gas tank, 12 disk spark arrestor, works radiator braces, asv levers, and a ton of other stuff.

Love this bike and I'm always counting the seconds till I can go ride again.
