just bought an 03 650r

well its an 03 au version 2000km and the only thing changed from stock is a staintune pipe, i was thinking of starting by changing the jets and derestricting the airbox but i dont know where to go from there, so i thought i would ask here because its my 1st big bore xr, and all of you seem to know them alot better than i do

Congrats!! Got my 03 a few weeks ago. Loving it more all the time. Do a search on "uncorking" and you'll get everything you need. Several people have typed up the whole process and there is even a video, though it doens't show everything.

Get the fix kit for the right hand foot peg or risk it breaking while your out riding? Most all XR 650's have had this happen to them. Back bolt shears off while riding and foot per drops away from under your foot. :thumbsup:

weskc35k if you dont want to help dont bother posting here your sarcasm is useless, and thanks care ill get the kit, i would hate to be 50km down a trail and then the footpeg comes off
