'95 650 lights & switches to an '85 600???

Has anyone tried making an'85 600 street legal by adding lights, bat, box, switches, wiring harness from a '95 650 to an '85 600? Is this doable? I don't mind a challenge...just want it to work.

The ignition system for a 600 is different than the 650. The 600 is a magneto type and the 650 runs off of the battery. You don't need or want the big battery anyway. The turn signal and hi/lo beam switch for the handlebars is useable. One of the companies that sells the dual sport kits has reasonable prices for the parts.
