This is the Pro-Moto rack on my '06 L

there are a couple other shots that sorta show it in my garage.

I added this as I was going to use this bike for long distance commutes, but I am just about to move nearly 30 miles closer to work, so it may get put on a shelf in favor of replacing the rear fender/taillight combo.

or... I may do the fender/tailight game and try to figure out a way to make this rack quick-detach for when I really do need it... hmmmm.... another mod?:confused:

Mine didnt come with Torx fasteners, kinda wish it had... those allen screws are a pain. (I rounded one out installing it and had to go buy one. Can't have an oddball fastener floating around on there... :bonk: )

That looks just like the XRsOnly one I got. I guess they are made by the same folks.

The allen screws are definitely the weak spot...I agree. I snapped at least one wrench installing mine. I wanted them very tight/torqued...don't want to lose a fastener on a trip/trail, and end up having your cargo flailing around.

Torx would allow for much easier/tighter/secure install.

But, overall, the install was easy, and this is one _solid_ rack.
