2006 YZ450F Impressions after second ride w/ Rekluse

I went to MX practice at Etown yesterday with my new 450 after installing the Rekluse auto clutch, perch adjuster, and setting the sag to 100mm, and 48 pilot jet.

I cant believe how much better the bike worked for me this time. Last week I was riding like crap and not getting along with the bike at all.

Now it turns great with the sag set right. The rekluse makes it much easeir for me to concentrate on cornering and staying in the rut. No complaints about the cornering anymore.

The suspension is still a little stiff on the braking bumps but I can feel it getting softer with every hour (have 3.6 hours on it now total.)

Riding the with Rekluse auto clutch is much much easier. This is definatly the best mod I have ever bought for a bike. I have it set to slip a decent amount and it has definatly improved my cornering and overall speed. Love it. One of my CRF buddies rode my bike, he's getting the rekluse asap. No more left arm pump. No stalling. No spinning the rear tire in the accelleration bumps and flat corners. Jut flat out awsome, I can't say enough about it.

The 48 pilot did the trick for all the poping and backfiring. The bike starts easy and makes wicked power, certainly more than I need.

Im happy now

That's what counts the most.

I was noting on the TT store website and even the Rekluse website there doesnt seem to be a listing for the 06 YZ450F? did I miss it? Where did you get yours?

The rekluse clutch for the 2006 YZ450F is the same as for the 2005. An 06 YZ450 does need to change the clutch cable for the perch adjuster to work, just like the WR bikes.

I got mine directly from Rekluse. It's awsome.

From Brian at TT store. Part number "Rms172" quoted me $359.10 for a 2006 YZ 450. I didnt see it either, he had to look it up.
