I am thinking of buying a used Z start for my 426.

I just need to know if they suffer wear issues,or need any parts replaced often, apart from clutch plates that is.Or is it better to buy new.

No time to search post's,i alway get sidetracked, and there is a lot about these clutches.Cheers.

You should be fine. We've had a Rekluse on my daughter's YZ250F for about 15 months. Only one clutch adustment needed so far. My daughter has raced this bike and so have I, not one ioda of trouble.

The Rekluse unit should go a couple hundred hours and be okay. Mine has about 300 hours and its not showing any wear.
