Removing Coil on Spark Plug

Does it screw off or just pull straight off? And do i need to remove the gas tank or anything? Thanks

Pulls straight off. You'll have to remove the tank to remove the plug.

Except on the 06. There is enough room the remove the plug with the tank on.

I just pull the left tank bracket off. SHould I be removing the tank also?

Is that true of the '06 450? With the right tools, you can get the plug out of my '01 YZ250F with the tank on, but not my 450. I assumed that since she poste in this forum, she's working with a big bike.

Yes, on my 06 450 there is enough room to get the plug out without removing anything.

These bikes have spark plugs????

I felt guilty the other day and was going to swap out the old one with 50 hours on it for a new one, until I saw the condition of the plug. It runs just as good as the day I bought it and the electrode and gap were like new.
