Radiator protection

3 posts in this topic

I do more woods/trail riding than MX tracks, so alot of my bikes duties are performed at low speeds.

With that in mind, which rad guards offer good protection with little airflow restriction? I don't want to over heat it at low speeds.

Thanks

i have the Unabiker rad guards on my 2002 yz426 ....

they seem to be pretty tough, but they are hard to mount if the radiators are a little damaged/bent already ... you also have to remove the rear mount screw to change the spark plug .... and make sure you have some spare screws, nuts and washers when putting the guards on the bike, the washers shipped were to few, and the screws were to short ...

Devols. They are built well and improve air flow. Installation was a snap and they still look good after 3 years of abuse.
