need advice on running after rebuiled

i have just replaced the piston and the rings and also honing the cylinder

how many miles do i have to ran my 1998 wr-400 easi and what is the best way of doing the first running

For a 450 a good break in perdiod would be 1 to 2 tanks worth of riding it easy, no hitting the rev limiter, no hard pulls, just take it easy, this doesn't mean to ride it like an old lady, just don't abuse it for this period, after this, change the oil and filter and you are ready to abuse it!!! :applause::bonk:
