Standard carbie tuning{mixture screw}

I ride my bike on the road a lot although I have been riding in the dirt a fair bit lately and have been fiddling with the mixture screw. I have found the perfect setting for the tight stuff where i get no flat spot down low which is about 1 and 1\2 turns out. Thats about 1 turn further in than the bike shop set it at. That setting made it have the flat spot.I am worried though that when i'm on the freeway doing 70 mph would it be running lean at 1 and 1\2?Can i run this bike lean without a blow up?

The mixture screw affects the idle jet only. The idle jet has some contribution low-rpm riding, but has essentially no impact at highway speeds which draw from the main jet.
