oil pressure guage

5 posts in this topic

Is there any place to hook up pressure guage ? I was wandering if it could tell how much wear on crank-rod bearing (or do they use rollers ?) Also pump weakness.

I suppose you could easily tap into the oil lines, but to no real purpose ... Honda oil pump failures occur about as regularly as the Ice Ages .. :applause:

I may not be sure off the location but for sure you could use a temperature gauge for the oil, since the hotter it gets the oils thins out.Anyways a press. gauge is a great idea.

The crank uses roller needle bearing. The only accessable port would be the oil line to the valve train. You might be able to tee into the banjo fitting.
