Little dilema

I have an IMS desert tank, recently it started leaking quite a bit of gas, I thought that it was the cap, so yesterday when I went to remove the cap the whole threaded section of the gas tank broke off, does anyone know how to make it a dry break/quick fill tank??

If it's that brittle, then personally I would opt for a new tank. Riding with a brittle tank is asking to be BBQ'd.

thats how my stock tank broke :applause:

But the tank is less than a year old

You might want to contact IMS and see what they say. Just a thought!

Then you might want to contack CLARKE and buy a better tank. :applause:

What a crappy product.

you might want to not screw the cap on so tight.

Ditto. Bite the bullet and buy and new tank.
