cyclegear bought every 756 left that tucker rocky had and are selling fronts for 44.99 and rears for 49.99 so there's an idea for all of you that are hooked as much as i am. I bought 6 sets for myself. :applause:

You bought 17 tires? You must really like that tire!!!!

same thing happened when they stopped making 752. People went out and brought every tyre they could get their hands on. I prefer fresh rubber, not old.

Is the Starcross the same as the MH-3?

Michelin makes the Starcoss in two diffferent compounds: the MH3, a hard compound for hard to intermediate and the MS3, a softer compund for softer terrain. Surprisingly I have found the MS3 to last longer and get much better traction in all situations. I have had many different Dunlops (not the RR tho) and I have found the Starcross to be much better all around.

I have alot of confidence in those tires and at my age that makes a difference. I like fresh rubber too, That is why I split them up three ways with my two riding buddies. I think I`ll try cycle gear for some fronts.

The MS3 lasts longer perhaps because the soft terrain tire has a harder, not softer rubber compound.

I spoke with CycleGear today and they said that the $44 and $49 pricing was only for the standard 756 tires, not the RR's. So I'm not sure what you ended up with. Additionally, that pricing was for a limited time.

Beyond this, they still seem to have a good price on the RRs at $67 for the rear and $62 for the front, special order one day, $10 shipping for both.

BTW - The dealer costing in the Off-Road Parts Unlimited catalog is $85 for the front and $101 for the rear.

My local dealer still wants $119 for the rear. Yikes!

SO, has anyone heard about when the NEW 756RR will be available???

I need tires but I swear I'm waiting.

oh well, with no temptation to go with another 756 on the front, looks like a good time to try that 90/100/21 on the front now.

Tucker Rocky is supposed to get the new 756RRs on Feb 8th.

The front will still be an 80/100 x 21. I was hoping for a 90/100 but either way I'll be running these tires again.

Cycle Gear is now out of the front RR tires.

Still has rears.
