OIL Screen - how to remove?

4 posts in this topic

01 YZ426 - I can't get that :applause::p:ride: oil screen out. I'm talking about the one under the frame/oil tank. any pointers on getting this thing apart before I pull out the blue-tipped wrench?

Lots of people will say not to mess with it. I, however, check it once a year. Since I've broken it loose and I don't muscle it back in, it goes in and out without problems. I'd suggest taking the hose off first and then having at it with a deep socket.

A six point deep socket and a long handle. :applause:
