New EBC 320mm kit for L's?

I've been searching around for this new EBC 320mm rotor kit w/relocation bracket and cant find nothing on it or the price. Can anyone shed a little light on this for me?

Thanks!!

Zack

order the one for the xr600 and it's $189.99 from dennis kirk

I'm pretty sure that the 600 and 650l's wheels were different, but not totaly sure... Anyone know about this?

Yes they are different and require a different hanger

Thanks rmhrc630! I could have sworn that ebc came out with a 320mm kit for the L's specifically.

The brake pads, rotor, bearings, and axle are the same but you're probably right it won't fit

Well I do appreciate the help don87xr600, but I do remember hearing from someone on this forum who has a 650l buying a 320mm rotor for a 600 and not having it fit, along with the relocation bracket. I dont wanna go through mixing and matching parts then trying to get them to fit after spending that much $.

Thanks,

Zack

no oversized rotor for the 650L

Bummer. I am looking forward to this mod when available.

Yesterday while doing some 90mph blasting on the backroads of hurricane ravaged south Florida, I noticed that when heavy braking on the straights the bike wants to turn left a little. Nothing drastic-just an annoying little pull...Is this fork flexing?

Anyone with the big rotors have this problem?

looking for the same thing myself.........my 650 motard needs some more stopping power

I think for the forks twisting, the braces help or so ive been told.

OK, I found a caliper relocating bracket, and now all I need is the 320mm rotor.

Someone said in a previous post that hte xr600 rotor will fit. Was that correct? Does it fit?

Treadmarks,

The XR6 rotor will NOT fit....totally different hub from the L. We need to all petition EBC or Braking and do a group (large) order and maybe just maybe they'll make something. I'm sure there are plenty that want more brake.

Guys, I think you have this all wrong. the 650L comes with the oversize rotor and bracket all ready from the factory. the 650R is the bikes that needs it. all you have to do is mesuare it.

The 650L does not come with a 320mm rotor. idk if the stock one is 260 or 280mm but either way, with the hevier tires/wheels you Need a larger rotor. Treadmarks, where did you find a relocation bracket for the L's and how $?

A place in Ohio, I forget the name. They responded to an email I sent asking about one last week.

Price was 90 buckaroonies.

I have the email with part numbers at work.

I will post it in the morning.

So...where we gonna get a rotor? :applause:

There is a guy who makes a oversize brake, it is a bit overpriced...

For some reason I don't have his website, I will find it a post back to you guys.

I knew about MAP engineering, I would like to find something a little bit cheaper though. Their is kinda pricey!

Yeah I have to agree almost $400 for a rotor and a caliper relocation bracket?

a Lot overpriced!

If I knew the rotor I can make a bracket for less than $30 machined.
