A recent test of an XR650R

I noticed they overheated their bikes in the slow stuff. Too bad no one told them to replace the wimpy stock 1.1 radiator cap with the Kawasaki KX500 1.8 cap. A properly uncorked bike with the Kawi radiator cap rarely gets hot even in the slow stuff and that is a fact.

Had they done that, they wouldnt have been testing an OEM bike...

Its a smart and effective mod, but it didnt come from Honda that way and they cant go futzing with the thing doing that kind of test.

Maybe so but after their first run on the stock bike they went back and uncorked them. I don't think they knew about the rad cap mod.
