spark plug tool

Hey people,

I had a bunch of stuff stolen out of my buddy's shed (chain and ground anchor kept the bike from going) including most of my WR tools and spares. Not too worried about the spoke tool etc, but i'm worried about not having the special spark plug tool. Does anyone know if any other tools will work, or better yet, does someone want to sell a spare one that they have accumulated somehow?

Cheers.

400/426 or 450? I found that my 400 tool will not work in my 450. Just something to consider when you are buying one. Unfortunately I do not have a spare.

Good Luck!

It's a '04 WR 450 Canadian Spec

You can use a deep socket to get it in and out. The special tool is not required. Or a normal spark plug socket. Just use a box end wrench to turn it. Both have worked for me.

motion pro makes a relatively inexpensive tool (under $20 US) that has a special rotating extension piece. Given the funny angle as it interacts with the frame above, it made life much easier than the extension socket.

Cheers kirk.

I can't find it on the website. Do you have a link for it?
