06 YZ450 Prices

15 posts in this topic

Anyone getting actual OTD prices yet for the 06 YZ450? I don't think it will be as bad as the 03 release in SoCal as there are 5 450's now.

Nope thats 5900.00 otd!!And thats for a SE to boot.I buy all our bike from the same shop and with a family of four riding and racing thats turns into a lot of $$$$.They give me pretty good deals so i buy all of our stuff from them.

There are other shops that I MAY and I mean may get a better deal from but

I would rather buy local so if there is a problem I don't have to drive 500 miles!

Look up lake hill motors,They have good prices as well, just watch out for the ole "bait and switch" :D

He's out in the middle of nowhere though (No offense)...Alabama.

Where there is much less demand, prices are cheaper. I think the next bike I buy I'll drive far away somewhere to the middle of nowhere so I can get a great price.

The middle of nowhere? There are MX Tracks, free style, 25 mile woods trails, hair scrambles, and even road racing tracks in just about every direction from where I live. Not to mention the hundreds of power lines and pipelines in Alabama near Talledega (home of Talledega National Speedway) National forest. There are about 10 MX tracks (some you may have heard of, Monster Mountain, "The Ridge") in my close proximity, and there is no telling how many in Alabama combined. There are bike shops in almost every town, to include 5 shops in Birmingham metro area. It's the competition, not the lack there of. :D

The $6055 is my cost on the bike because I ride for the shop.THey are only getting 1 S.E. in and one blue one in the whole year since no one around here buys them.
