I've tried metallic and carbon pads and the stock Honda ones. I like the EBC or Tusk carbons the best. In a dry climate it stops well on the front of my 600 without being sticky and twitchy. My riding is highspeed desert and long, fast downhills. And the rotor is not a factor for wearing.

Since the pads are easy to change I was leaning for a soft material and hopfully save rotor too . Am I thinking right ? And if so , what /who's pad is soft? (soft the right word?) :D
