Hey I am gonna be in the UP next weekend also. Gonna do our Annual Assult on Drummond Island. Ill be there Friday afternoon and leaving Tuesday morning. We camp at the staging area at #13 if anyone gets over that way next weekend.

I saw your annual weekend post on TT north section for Drummond island role call. Is it doable in a day trip over from Newberry? ? I have no idea how long or busy the ferry schedule is. What is your advice, Don?

Anything is doable. Were is Newbery? Is that like straight up from the bridge somewere?? I dont have a map in front of me. Drummond is like 1.5 hours from the bridge if that helps. Ferry runs every hour. If you guys want to ride there we will be there. I am gonna try to get out in the morning. But there is usually a group that dont move till noon so if you get there mid morning I am sure that there will be someone there that you recognize.
