Replacing OEM Seat on the 650R!

Hey all, I was ordewring up some parts for my BRP from Service Honda today when I asked about a part number for the 2000 model seat unit. My stock 01 seat has a small tear, and I really like the look of the 2000 model with the "650R' on the side.

The nice guy taking my order siad that Honda had a problem with the stencil on the seats and so the seat may come without the 650R logo on the sides. I was going to buy just a whoel extra seat, and I know I can get just the cover, was wondering if anyone else had this problem, should I just go for it, or look for a used one? I can allways return it but will have to pay a restocking fee, the fiche shows the seat with the 650R logo, but has anyone here ordered it and got a blank red seat? Does anyone have a nice used 2000 model seat and or cover they wann sell?

Sure I do. I have a 2000 XR that is still like new with low hours, all on the street. Buy me an tall seat and I will swap you straight across!

I have a 04 BRP and I believe there the same seat except for colors and graphics, Its painted all black, No rips or holes, Great shape,40$, plus shipping..
