plastic polish

Recommended Posts

I have some guy coming to possibly buy my 01 426. I bought some new fenders to clean it up (polisport) and they have to be the dullest plastic I've ever seen. I'm almost tempted to put the scratched up stockers back on. I tried wd40 and it turns all hazy after awhile . Any suggestions? :naughty:

Hit the faded spots very lightly with a propane torch. Use a quick hand with the flame tip about four inches away from the plastic. You will see the oils pull up to the surface and sheen over. Don't over do it though. When it cools buff with lemon pledge. Believe me, this works. Don't do a plastic gas tank :naughty:
