Trail Tech Question

The "Endurance" computer is not suitable for use on a dirtbike.....unless it never sees the dirt! I speak from experience. I just broke the 2nd one I've had on my WR450. They replaced the 1st in May of last year, the replacement just started acting weird. When I get moving the display turns to gibberish, it blanks, then random segments appear-nothing readable. Trail Tech was not encouraging on the phone, said to send it in, but they prob'ly won't do more than offer me a discount on a replacement.....after close to $130 after buying the computer and mounting kit, I am not happy!!

I've had zero problems with my Endurance computer on my WR450. :naughty:

Im assuming these come with mounting kits? When i look on webpages or catalogs for thre computer, they come in quite a few packages, labeled "CRF150/230" and such... doesnt that mean they come with the mounting kit for it?

No, it will vary for signal cable length etc. The mounting set up is kinda universal. I'd recommend their billet mount. First class, looks super clean and in a safe area :naughty:

Ya... the mounting kit is specific to the type of magnetic rotor bolt and caliper mounting, as well as cable length. The cable follows your front brake line up the fork and through the guides.

The included mount was designed to go on the bracket where the WR's stock odometer is mounted... they are assuming that you will remove it to save weight.

The billet mounts are sweet.

Yeah, I mounted mine with the billet mount and kept the stock one in place. I suppose I should just delete the stock setup all together. I just find it hard to get rid of factory stuff! :naughty::naughty:

I was just too lazy to pull mine off. I'll probably yank it when I upgrade to my Pro Tapers.

Now what's strange is I used Dunlop's numbers for the diameter and it showed the 739 as being 2215, so that's what I put into the TT.

The TT matches the factory odo mile per mile, but it reads a couple of MPH higher than the GPS, and trip mileage is higher than the GPS.

I need to actually measure that tire.

All working now... strange strange... but you have yo just shot the censor the smallest amount of Magnet, for it to work... thats for your help guys
