Dumb Question

I just completed wiring my WR450FR in a super kart application. I want to use the light circuit for an oil cooler fan. Does the motor have to be running for the lights to work on a 2003 (or later) WR???

If not I will keep chasing it.

Thanks,

Don E

yes, lighting is on a seperate "circuit" from the charging/ battery side.

Thanks. I thought as much, but wanted to be sure. Your post will save me a lot of time and troubleshooting.

Regards,

Don

Yes, lighting is all together seperate. In fact, I believe its all even AC, so your permanent magnent motor would just set there and (((shake))) instead of spinning anyway. :)
