Valves checked today ...

800 kms (500 miles) on my 04 450 and 1100kms on my son's 04 250 and the 450 needed 3 valves adjusted (too tight) and the WR250 needed only one valve adjusted.

Service rep told me they won't need adjusting for 2,000 kms now as they tighten less and less as time goes by.

Is this true? How often do you find your valves need adjusting?

Just check them once a year after you break her in and did the first check. ?
