Exhaust arrived today!

6 posts in this topic

My first performance mod has been completed! Now all I need to do is wait for the smog kit and jets, and I will be all set!

I got a smoking deal from a fellow TTer, Thanks Ray, for an aftermarket exhaust. Installed it as soon as I got home, of course.

Just thought I would share my excitement with people who understand. My wife couldn't care less.

OK, don't keep us in suspense!

What exhaust did you get? Inquiring minds want to know! :)

I just ordered my Edelbrock carburetor, so now I'm in the middle of figuring what exhaust I'm going to buy for my new Honda XR650R.

I'm leaning towards the Moriwaki.

But, I may just get a slip on unit so I can keep the stock header. :)

Dualsport 650

I've got a full Titanium Akrapovic system for sale.

Good: light, light, purty

light scratches, no dents/bends, about as loud as stock with HRC tip.

Bad: no spark arrestor.

$400.

Let me know if you are interested

Cheers

Scott

Funny you just posted this Desmo.

I just saw your ad in the classifieds and PM'ed you. :)

The Akrapovic looks killer and I'm sure it gives some extra power, but is it too loud? I gotta keep it quiet up here in the PNW - lots of nature nazis up here. :)

Its a Cobra ISDE. I had never heard of it before, but the price was right. Since I put it on, the bike has really woken up, and I haven't even jetted yet. I couldn't be happier.
