Draining Fork oil

2 posts in this topic

Can the front fork oil be drained by removing the Compression adjustment screw on the bottom of the fork housing? I thought I saw a post on this method but I can not find it now.

I have drained it before by removing the fork tube and turning it upside down and pumping it out ( what a mess).

you can drain some of it, but it won't be all of it. damper rod will still have the old fluid inside till you pump it out.

not that messy, just have a catch pan ready when ya dump it out :)
