Aftermarket Aluminum Frame??

8 posts in this topic

Good luck! It will be very hard to produce an aluminum YZF frame with any consitency unless you have the right resources. Chances are if you do produce more than one frame, no two will be a like. What are you going to do about the oil in the dry sump (wet frame)? I would not quit my day job for a project like this. But you never know sometimes risks pay dividends.

I'd rather spend my time trying to fit a supercharger into my current set-up. Weight dose not mean shiza to me.

While that is true, I think it would be awesome if you were able to come up with something. See my comments in the WR forum.
