Any suggestions on who has the upper hand when it comes to price and availability for mail order Japanese bike parts? I have had it with all the shops here locally.

Tim, my days off are Sunday and Monday, so getting any parts at a local dealership for me is impossible as they are all closed on my days off. I go to: http://parts.yamaha-motor.com/ to get my parts (great website) and I even printed out every page, its an exploded view with all the OE part numbers. I have all the pages in a 3 ring binder for every Yamaha I have. Then I take those numbers and order online at places like: http://www.powersportspro.com/partsfish/sessionexpire.asp

There is all kinds of places that sell Yamaha parts, using a search engine, type in Yamaha Parts and you can find the best prices, bookmark it and make them your parts store. I get everything I need without leaving the warmth of my home! I know I should support the local economy and if you look in my garage, I do wherever I can.
