Adjusting ride Height

Hi all i have a 2000 Wr400 and i find the height just a little bit to big, im 5ft7 and can just put my feet on the ground when its flat, rocky of uneven conditions i havent a prayer you can imagine what happens next.

Anyways i have adjusted the ride height down a bit, but is there any mods i can do to the seat to make it a bit lower?

Any help would be appreciated..

cheers

Loosen the rear springm with a standard screw driver and a plastic mallet... crank it down with your hand... and tighten it back up! 7 minute job if that.

Sure, you can shave the seat foam down as much as your body can handle.

Aren't there lowering links as well?

Hmmmmm, So much for proper Race Sag and bottoming resistance.

Depends on his weight I guess. This works ok for regular trail riding. We have done this for quite a bit for people and no one seems to have a problem. A 200+ pounder.... yep. Koubalinks don't work too well... as I've seen on a DRZ at least.
