winter?

I have a 99 wr400.. I'm planning on parking it until the spring. Anything I should do to it for storage?

At least put a gas stabilizer in it.

Wash and dry.

Get the wheels off the ground.

Apply wd40 all over.

Oil change.

Gas stabiliser.

or

Get a st of heated grips and studded tires. Find an ice patch and go

Drain the tank and float bowl, get the tires off the ground and hook a battery tender to the battery...

I take mine inside the house. Just leave the empty tank outside in the shed too avoid fuel smells in the house...

What's the purpose for getting the tires off the ground?

Get a st of heated grips and studded tires. Find an ice patch and go

Now you're talkin'! I live less than 1/2 mile from Lake St. Clair. Hopin for those new tires this Christmas so I can stud the old Dunlops and try out the ice riding.

- Drain the carb and put stabilizer in the gas at bare minimum.

so where to get studded tires? or at least studs and a stud installer?
