650R throttle response

I have an '00, HRC tip, manifold, jetting, etc. All is well, except the throttle response at low throttle angles.

If I am in a slick turn and need to crack the throttle back on, it is rather jerky. I get a little bit of poppong during engine braking as well.

I am wondering is anyone has thoughts on this, other than spending buck on a Quicksilver. It ain't a big enough deal for that. I'm thinking air screw or idle jet.

Might also be worth cleaning the carb too, if it's been a while.

Have you tried adjusting your air screw in or out a turn at a time...? This can make a big diff...
